My sister stopped by the Memorial yesterday to see the progress, and sent me a couple of pictures. Each memorial brick lies on the ground in front of the service person’s branch of service. In my dad’s case, it is in front of the Air Force. He served stateside during the Korean War. He was always proud of his military service, and he would have loved the tribute here. The next picture shows the obelisk, which is the center of the memorial, with the service branches on each side. I imagine it will all be very beautiful when it’s done.
