Welcome

Welcome to Ron and Laurie’s kitchen!  Our kitchen has had many incarnations, but underneath it has always been the same.  It started with the Boris and June 1st Street apartment in Long Beach.  There were some great meals way back then,  some of which we still make today.  Meals have been tested, refined, and some kept while others discarded.  We have tempered trying times with good food. We’ve had great celebrations on holidays and deployment returns. A plethora of gadgets have crossed the kitchen thresholds; we have always loved our gadgets! We’ve grown our own herbs and vegetables, made sausage, bread, jam and pasta.  Our menus have leaned towards healthy, but have also been excessive in fat and carbs at times.  Beer brewing and grilling have dominated the present days. It’s all been fun–what would life be without great food? This site is dedicated to making even more food memories. -LM
